The 2017 Malayalam crime drama film, Angamaly Diaries, is getting an adaptation in Hindi and will see Kaithi and Master sensation Arjun Das making his Bollywood debut under KD Engira Karuppudurai fame Madhumita's direction. According to reports, the upcoming film adaptation will be set in rural Goa and is being produced by Abundantia Entertainment, with the production completed and post-production works currently in progress. The Angamaly Diaries Hindi adaptation is said to be Abundantia Entertainment's next big project after the Hindi remake of Suriya's Soorarai Pottru, which the production banner is co-producing. 

The Angamaly Diaries Hindi adaptation is yet to get a title and a release date for the film is also expected to be revealed along with the other details such as the cast and the crew in the days ahead. The original Malayalam film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and starring Antony Varghese, Anna Rajan, Tito Wilson, Sarath among others turned out to be a sensational commercial success, while also basking in massive critical glory. Angamaly Diaries was earlier remade in Telugu under the title Falaknuma Das and had Vishwak Sen playing the lead role, which didn't fare as well as expected. 

Arjun Das, who made heads turn with his intense performances in films like Karthi's Kaithi, Andhaghaaram produced by director Atlee, Master starring 'Thalapathy' Vijay, including a brief cameo in Kamal Haasan's Vikram, will be looking to hit the bullseye once again with the Angamaly Diaries Hindi adaptation. The upcoming film will also mark Madhumita's debut in Bollywood and is her next after her KD Engira Karuppudurai in Tamil 2019, which as well is said to be getting a remake.
