A film that has been riding high on excitement ever since its announcement in early 2020, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, being directed by Vignesh Shivan under Lalit Kumar’s 7 Screen Studio in association with the Rowdy Pictures banner will see ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi sharing screen space with Nayanthara and Samantha. Billed to be a fun rom-com, the film has 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander for the songs and background score, with the 'Two Two Two' single released sometime back turning out to be a roaring success. Up until now, the promotions have been rather low-key other than the two single tracks released, with the makers on Sunday dropping a major announcement regarding the long-awaited Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal first look.

7 Screen Studio, which is known for being associated with films like the Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha-starrer '96 and 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Master, took to social media to announce that the highly-anticipated Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal first look(s) will be unveiled on Monday (November 15). The announcement that it won't be just one first look for Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, but rather that all three stars in the film Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha will be getting their posters has fans mighty excited already. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is a big project and has been carrying tremendous hype ever since its announcement video was released last year. The upcoming film is also a reunion for Vignesh Shivan with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi after their 2015 box office blockbuster Naanum Rowdydhaan and is incidentally also a landmark film for Anirudh as it marks his 25th venture in his career in Tamil cinema. Expectations for the film have been massive with the hopes that Vignesh Shivan will deliver yet another cracker of an entertainer on the lines of Naanum Rowdydhaan. For a while now, there have been speculations doing the rounds that Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal might be skipping a theatrical release and instead premiere directly on a leading OTT platform, with an official announcement in its regard still awaited.
