Leading Bollywood actor-producer John Abraham and his wife Priya Runchal have tested positive for Covid-19 and have isolated themselves under home quarantine. Seen last in vigilante action film Satyameva Jayate 2, the actor shared the news on his Instagram Story on Monday informing fans that he had come in contact with a Covid positive individual three days back. John wrote, "I came in contact 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had COVID. Priya and I have tested positive for COVID. We have been quarantined at home so haven't been in contact with anyone else." He added, "We are both vaccinated and experienced mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Masks up." John Abraham and his wife are the latest to join the list of big Bollywood celebrities after director Rahul Rawail, producers Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and her husband Karan Boolani, followed by actresses Mrunal Thakur, Nora Fatehi, and Shilpa Shirodkar too tested positive for Covid-19 recently. Only a few days back, actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora tested Covid positive, but have since made a recovery. 

On the work front, John Abraham will be seen next in Attack alongside leading actresses Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez, with the highly-anticipated action film directed by Lakshya Raj Anand slated to hit screens on January 28, 2022.
