Directed by Sundar C under the Avni Cinemax banner with music by Hiphop Tamizha, Kalakalappu 2 stars Shiva, Jai, Jiiva as the male leads followed by Nikki Galrani and Catherine Tresa as the leading ladies alongside a battalion of supporting cast members namely Sathish, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar, Ramdoss, Vaiyapuri, Manobala, Singampuli, VTV Ganesh, Santhana Bharathi, Kaajal Pasupathi, Madhusudhan Rao, and Radharavi.

He further added that everyone had a fun time working, but for him personally, he enjoyed a lot more as he got to poke fun at Nikki Galrani throughout the course of shooting.
Although Nikki Galrani was paired opposite Jai in Kalakalappu 2, she will be seen as Jiiva's ladylove in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Kee gearing up for a release soon.
