Iraivan is an much-awaited upcoming movie starring Jayam Ravi. The film will see Thani Oruvan pair Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara coming together again. The film has created an anticipation as its directed by I Ahmed who was behind the 2016 hit legal thriller Manithan and Endrendrum Punnagai. He is back after a break of over six years with Iraivan. This will be the second film for the actor and director combo as their another project Jana Gana Mana was put on hold due to issues. The shooting for Iraivan has already wrapped and post production work is happening in full sing and the film is expected to be release this summer.
The director of the film recently shared an image on his Instagram showing bloody image of a severed leg. The prosthetic in the post looks so real and shows the director is adding more details to it as camera focuses on it. It shows that Iraivan is progressing rapidly and it could be a violent and aggressive action flick that will remain etched in the minds of the viewers. The director kept the caption of the post simple writing “work #iraivan”. The film, produced by Passion Studios, will have music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The OTT streaming rights was bagged by Netflix.
Jayam Ravi is busy with many projects set to release in 2023. Ponniyin Selvan II in which he plays the role of Arulmozhi Varman aka Raja Raja Chozhan, that’s a magnum opus of iconic film director Mani Rathnam, is set to release in April. His other film Agilan is also in post production stage and he is currently filming for Siren. A recent photo of the talented actor in salt and pepper look from the film went viral on social media.
