Shah Rukh Khan has been busy shuffling his time between the schedules of his upcoming films Jawan and Dunki after he hit the bullseye earlier this year with the astounding success of his Pathaan, which grossed over 1000 crores at the box office. Having returned to Mumbai earlier this week after shooting an important schedule for Dunki in Kashmir, the Bollywood superstar announced on Saturday that his Jawan has been pushed to a September 7 theatrical release after initially being planned to bring it out in cinemas on June 2. Although the news of Jawan's postponement had come as a big disappointment to many fans around the world, Shah Rukh surprised everyone yesterday by taking part in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session using the hashtag #AskSRK and interacted with many on Twitter regarding the delay in the upcoming film's release, while also sharing interesting several other interesting anecdotes.

During the AMA session, one fan asked Shah Rukh Khan about his favorite Atlee films to date, with the superstar sharing his choices for the first time ever. The Jawan actor went on to reveal that he is fond of Theri and Mersal quite a lot, both of which starred Tamil superstar 'Thalapathy' Vijay in the lead role. Atlee had collaborated with Vijay on three occasions starting with Theri, followed by Mersal, and then in Bigil. All three mass entertainers turned out to be massive box office hits cementing Atlee's position in Tamil cinema as a major force to reckon with. Check out SRK's statement below:

Atlee is making his Bollywood debut in Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, which also marks the launchpad of 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara, composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer GK Vishnu, and editor Ruben in Hindi. The film also starring Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist is releasing as a grand pan-Indian venture in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, and is produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner.
