Jason Momoa is most famous for his roles in Game of Thrones, DC Extended Universe's Aquaman, Baywatch: Hawaii and Stargate: Atlantis. Momoa most recently starred as the loyal ally and military commander Duncan Idaho in Denis Villeneuve's Dune and is now getting ready to appear in the tenth film of the Fast & Furious franchise.

Rumours were stirring up all over the place in late January that Jason Momoa was to join the cast of the next Fast&Furious movie as its main antagonist but it was all speculation. There was no proof of anything so no news regarding this was ever confirmed. All the fans were in support of the humour as he did seem like the perfect choice to play a bad guy's role given his huge physique and menacing stance.

But sometimes rumours do come true and Momoa confirmed to ET (Entertainment Tonight) that he will be taking up the bad boy role in Fast & Furious 10. It's an unusual choice of role for the actor who has mostly played heroic personas like Aquaman, Duncan Idaho, Baba Voss and the proud Kal Drogo. While talking about this he said, "I'm gonna go do Fast 10, that's gonna be fun... it's fun, I get to play the bad guy, which I haven't gotten to do for a while… Now I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy. A little panache."

Jason looks very much excited to play this character and it is evident as to why. It may be because he has never played a negative character before and loves this challenge or it might simply be because he gets to be a part of the star-studded ensemble cast of the FF franchise which will in turn place be a part of his legacy. He will join the lineup of familiar faces including Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Nathalie Emmanuel.

Besides that, Jason Momoa is currently starring as Baba Voss in the Apple TV+ series See. He will also be reprising his role as Arthur Curry in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is set to hit the screens on 16 December 2022, in Netflix’s Slumberland, which will also scheduled to premiere sometime this year.
