A video song from actor Jai's upcoming flick Pugazh, directed by Mani Maran, is getting ready to be released on Nov 19. The video shows Jai and RJ Balaji going on a celebration trip Pondy after winning a local cricket match. Produced by Sushant Prasad of Film Department and presented by Varun Manian’s Radiance Media, the film stars Jai and Surabhi in the lead. The film's story revolves around a few local politicians who try to seize a playground which is the sports zone for many youngsters. Will the youngsters succeed in stopping the politicians, forms the crux of this story.

Handsome Jai appears in a boy-next-door avatar. Comedian Karunas plays the role of Jai's elder brother, who shares an emotional bonding with the latter. Vivek–Mervin of Vadacurry fame, have composed Pugazh's vibrant music. Interestingly, the film marks the debut of Bollywood singer Arjith Singh in Kollywood. The film has been primarily shot in and around Chennai.
