Jai had his last release Neeya 2, starring along Laxmi Raai, Cathrine Teresa and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. A couple of weeks ago it was confirmed that Jai would be doing a movie under SA Chandrasekhar's direction along with Athulya Ravi, titled Capemari. Surprisingly, the couple have signed another movie overnight that's to be directed by a debutant, Vetriselvan SK. The director stated that the movie will be an romantic action thriller. He revealed that Jai's character will be playing a boy next door, laced with realistic shades.
However under unavoidable circumstances, he takes justice into his hands and it is a role that encapsulates joy, energy and fury. Athulya Ravi will be playing his character's love interest and the director mentioned that he found her perfectly fitting to portray the girl next door role. It was also revealed that Vaibhav's elder brother, Sunil has been roped in for pivotal role, and the actor for the negative character in the movie is yet to be finalized.
As of now, Sam CS is onboard to compose music for this yet to be titled movie, bankrolled by Suresh Subramanian for Rain of Arrows Entertainment, a subsidiary of a Hollywood incorporation of same name. The movie will go on floors at Madurai and later on at exotic places at Kerala.
