Illayaraja returns to Telugu industry with Mallepuvvu

The Telugu movie Mallepuvvu starring Bhumika, which is progressing away from the media glare, has music composed by the melody king Illayaraja who has not scored music for any Telugu film since Vamsi’s Anumanaspadam.

Directed by V. Samudra and produced by Mohan Vadlapatla, Mallepuvvu is a heroine oriented movie with Murali Krishna as the male protagonist. Publicity designer and director Ramesh Varma is the author of this film’s story. Illayaraja has set Veturi’s beautiful and delicately worded lyrics to superb tunes.

Illayaraja has ruled the South Indian film industry with masterful melodies that have set the standard for younger entrants into the film music field. His debut Annakizhi saw him take the Tamil film industry by storm and he's not looked back since.

Mallepuvvu’s audio will be launched on July 28th.
