One of the blockbuster pan-India films of 2022 that's winning international recognition is RRR. The SS Rajamouli directorial starring Ram Charan and Jr.NTR in lead roles attracted the attention of a global audience after its release on Netflix. The film was also released in theatres across the US and globally. The song from the film Naatu Naatu won its composer MM Keeravani a Golden Globe. Last week, the film won awards in four categories at the Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards 2023. It won in the Best Original Song, Best International Film, Best Stunts and Best action film categories.
Director of RRR, SS Rajamouli, one of the leading actors Ram Charan and music composer MM Keeravani received the awards while some crew members were also present to witness the show. The fans of the movies had raised questions about why Jr.NTR, the other lead of the film, was not present while accepting the awards. The Hollywood Critics Association has answered the questions with a tweet. They said "Dear RRR fans and supporters, We did Invite N.T. Rama Rao Jr. to attend the HCA Film Awards but he was shooting a new film in India” They clarified that he will receive the award from them shortly and thanked the people for their love and support.

When a fan replied to the tweet says the actor could not attend due to person reason as his brother passed a week back. The HCA replied saying “he (Jr.NTR) was shooting a movie which is why he couldn’t attend, His brother passing happened afterwards and is why he stepped away from the movie. This is what his publicist told us”. This shows that RRR fans have been raging that Jr.NTR wasn’t present at the award ceremony in Los Angeles and people can expect that he will receive the award from Hollywood Critics Association soon.
