Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavanishankar to act in this blockbuster film's remake

Pelli Choopulu was a film that gave the initial break for Vijay Deverakonda even before the mammoth success of Arjun Reddy. This feel good romantic drama was loved by the audience for its breeziness and the beautiful chemistry between the lead pair, Vijay and Ritu Varma. The film was announced to be remade in Tamil starring Vishnu Vishal and Tamannaah under the production of Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film was titled as Pon Ondru Kandein and the makers had also released its first look. However, the project failed to take off due to various reasons and the film was dropped.

The remake has now been revived again, but this time, with a completely fresh team. Yes, the young and handsome hunk, Harish Kalyan will play the male lead reprising Vijay Deverakonda's character while the sensational beauty, Priya Bhavanishankar will be seen as his love interest. The duo will be pairing together for the first time and the combination looks totally fresh and exciting.

Both the actors have a good fan base especially among the youngsters. This remake will be directed by newcomer Kaarthikk Sundar and will have music by Vishal Chandrasekhar. Bankrolled by A Studios LLP, in association with SP Cinemas, this romantic drama will be shot by cinematographer Krishnan Vasant. This yet to be titled film was officially launched this evening with a formal pooja.
