Below is Government Law College's Instagram post:
Aparna Balamurali visited the Government Law College, Ernakulam, along with leading Malayalam actor Vineeth Srinivasan, to promote their latest film, Thankam, which is slated to open in cinemas on January 26. During the film's promotions on the college campus, a law student got on the stage without seeking permission from the organizer and went on to present a bouquet of flowers to Aparna, while asking her to pose for a photo with him. The incident, which was captured on video, showed the student attempting to put his hands around the actress' shoulder, which made her uncomfortable. Aparna had managed to ward off the student's advances and asked him to stop coming close to her, who tried apologizing on the stage. Later, in a response to a post, Aparna commented saying that she was "speechless" and shocked about how such an incident had taken place in a law college.
