Gopichand has been struggling to get a hit for quite a while now. His fans too are getting impatient and have pinned all hopes on his next, Chanakya. The film, which is being directed by Thiru, has already completed shooting and is currently in post-production mode. Now, to raise the anticipation level even more, the makers have revealed the teaser of the film! What can be understood from the short video is that this film is all set to be a slick spy thriller!
The teaser explains that the actor will be seen as a RAW agent and there are loads of fight sequences. In the beginning itself we hear the actor’s voice saying that he leads two lives. While one is real, the other is a fake one, he says. As the teaser proceeds, we see intense action scenes and high-octane fight sequences. Although Mehreen is the lead actress, she is hardly seen in the teaser. Same goes with Zareen Khan, who is playing a pivotal role.
Chanakya does seem like a good comeback for the actor but it might not impress many because of its same-old story line. Bankrolled by AK Entertainments, Chanakya releases on October 5th.
