Director Thiru has made a name for himself over the years after kicking off his filmmaking career on a bang with the rom com, Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai, starring Vishal, Neetu Chandra, Sarah-Jane Dias and Tanushree Dutta in 2010. Since then, Thiru had teamed up with Vishal twice again for Samar and Naan Sigappu Manithan followed by the Gautham Karthik, Karthik, Regina Cassandra and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer, Mr. Chandramouli last year. Now, Thiru is all set to make his directorial debut in Telugu with the upcoming film, Chanakya, which includes Gopichand in the lead role alongside Mehreen Pirzada and Zareen Khan playing the female leads under producer Rama Brahmam Sunkara’s AK Entertainments banner for which an action-packed intense trailer has now been released.
Hitting screens on October 5, Chanakya is incidentally Gopichand’s 26th film in his glorious career and also marks Zareen Khan’s debut in Telugu cinema. Featuring music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and BGM by Sricharan Pakala, the espionage action thriller film has cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, art direction by Ramana Vanka and dialogues by Abburi Ravi.
