Popular Ghanaian female comedian and television host Afia Schwarzenegger is reported to be currently hospitalised in a medical health facility in the West African nation's capital Accra. In a video posted going viral on social media, she is seen looking extremely ill in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital, with a mask covering her nose. Afia hasn't shared any details in the video shared on her Instagram page and remains mum throughout apart from asking her followers to pray for her to make a recovery soon. The video shows the star celebrity gasping for air through the mask she's wearing and appears without her usual makeup and messy hair. She captioned the short video, "Keep me in your prayers." 

As soon as Afia posted the video, many notable celebrities and personalities from all walks of life, including fans in Ghana expressed their support to her among whom include Abeiku Santana, Gifty Anti, Tracy Boakye, Vicky Zugah, to name a notable few. Abeiku commented, "Prayers going out for you," while Vicky wrote, "You are healed iJN." Afia recently informed her fans on social media that she was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis and has undergone surgery for the problems in her knee. Watch Afia's video below:

Afia Schwarzenegger has garnered a big popularity over the years after she started as the host on Okay FM's morning program Yewo Krom and UTV Ghana's Kokooko show.  She is said to be the CEO of Schwar TV on YouTube and was reportedly appointed as the ambassador of Orphans in Ghana by the Association of Children Homes and Orphanages in Ghana. Afia also founded the Leave2Live foundation, which is a domestic violence support group and also set up the Owontaa Street Ministry, a non-profit entity that caters to providing food to the downtrodden communities in Ghana.
