As the horror thriller Unakkenna Venum Sollu is gearing up for release on September 24th, Galatta.com held an exclusive interview with the debutante director of the film Srinath Ramalingam. In between his busy schedule with the promotional activities of the film, the young director was all excited to share about his movie with us.

When asked about the title change of the film from Daisy, Srinath said, "The original name for the movie was called Daisy. As the title sounded like a Malayalam film for many and also there were many delays in production because of that title. That's when we decided to change the title. As the film has used Unakkenna Venum Sollu (What do you want) phrase in many places of the film and also as the film is more about a father-daughter relationship, Ajith sir's popular song with the lyrics Unakkenna Venum Sollu which has already established that idea struck us as the perfect title. When we approached Gautham sir, he gave a nod of acceptance in no time which was very encouraging. And so finally we had we zeroed in on a title."

The film which is about an unborn child that takes revenge on her parents for terminating the pregnancy, features a fresh cast consisting of Deepak Paramesh, Gunalan Morgan, Mourhrna Aneetha, Jacqueline Prakash, Mime Gopi and many others. Produced by N. Shanmuga Sundaram and Mohammed Yasin, the theatrical rights of the film have been acquired by Auraa Cinemas. Stay tuned with Galatta.com for further exclusive updates on the film!
