Gautham Karthik is an important actor who cannot be ignored in the Tamil film industry, who made his debut with the Mani Ratnam directorial film Kadal. He was praised for his performance in the coming of the age flick. He then went on to do films like Vai Raja Vai, Rangoon, Ivan Thanthiran, Oru Naala Naal Paathu Solren, Devarattam and his latest release was Yutha Satham. The upcoming film of the actor is Pathu Thala starring Silambarasan TR in the lead role. The actor is said to play the right-hand of AGR in the film and it's audio launch is set to take place on March 18. The film is set to released in theatres on March 30.
The busy actor Gautham Karthik also has two more projects in line after Pathu Thala. One is a periodic film titled 16 August 1947 and the next is Criminal. Criminal is an upcoming film that is produced by Bigprint Pictures and Parsa Pictures and is directed by debutant director Dhaksinamoorthy Ramar. The film has Gautham Kathik joining hands with ‘Supreme Star’ R. Sarathkumar. The film will have music composed by the talented Sam CS. The investigative thriller film will have cinematography by Prasanna S Kumar who has worked previously in Pichaikkaran, Sivappu Manjal Pachai and Boomerang.
The makers of Criminal have now revealed that the filming has wrapped up today. The producers of the film revealed it with a special poster with the cast and crew and said "team Gautam Karthik and Sarath Kumar's Criminal has wrapped up the film shoot stay tuned for more exciting updates from the team". The makers earlier revealed the cast, who will include PL Thenappan, Deepthie Orintelu, Subathra Robert, Maaran, Raveena Ravi, Karunakaran and Janani with special posters. The makers are expected to reveal more announcements in the coming days.
