Composer turned actor G. V. Prakash Kumar and director A. L. Vijay are at present busy names in Tamil cinema with a handful of films lined up in succession with the two also signing on to new projects on a frequent basis.
G. V. Prakash’s started off 2019 on a positive note with his Sarvam Thaala Mayam and will next be seen in the comedy drama, Kuppathu Raja, alongside Palak Lalwani as the female lead followed by Parthiban, Poonam Bajwa, M. S. Bhaskar, Yogi Babu, R. N. R. Manohar, Jangiri Madhumitha among others in supporting roles under Baba Bhaskar’s direction with the film coming out on April 5.
That said, another GV Prakash film, his third release of 2019, has now been announced to hit screens as a Tamil New Year release as the action thriller Watchman will be out on April 12.
Watchman includes a solid technical team with director A. L. Vijay leading the charge followed by Nirav Shah for cinematography and Anthony taking care of the editing under the Double Meaning Productions banner and, Yogi Babu in a vital supporting role.
Likewise, director A. L. Vijay too will also be releasing his Devi 2 starring Prabhu Deva and Tamannah in lead roles with Nandita Swetha, RJ Balaji, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Jagan, Sathish, Dimple Hayati among others in vital supporting roles with the film announced to come out on April 5 by Vels Film International's Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh during the LKG success meet.
