As of now, no other details are known about the upcoming Kangana Ranaut film and the rest of the cast and the crew are expected to be announced in the days ahead. The upcoming film will mark the second time GV Prakash will be collaborating with the superstar actress after he composed music for her Thalaivii, which was released last year. The biographical drama film was based on the life of late actress and politician J. Jayalalithaa and was shot simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi under A. L. Vijay's direction. Kangana's performance in Thalaivii was well-received by fans and critics and GV Prakash's songs too proved to lend strength to the Jayalalithaa biopic.

As for their other projects, G. V. Prakash will be composing for several high-profile films like Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake, director Bala's Suriya 41 marking it the filmmaker's reunion with the Jai Bhim actor after two decades, Karthi's Sardar, Dhanush's Vaathi, Raghava Lawrence's Rudhran, and last but not the least, Vetri Maaran's Vaadivaasal. Kangana Ranaut, on the other hand, will be seen next in Emergency as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, while also turning director and producer for the film. She is also awaiting the release of her Tejas and Tiku Weds Sheru, which once again has her serving as a producer.
