Composer turned actor G. V. Prakash Kumar is currently one of the busiest stars in Tamil cinema as he is attached to a number of films both on the musical and acting front. After hitting the high note with his music in Dhanush's Asuran and Suriya's Soorarai Pottru, GV Prakash is all set to once again appear on the big screens with his upcoming ventures among which include films namely Ayngaran, Aayiram Jenmangal, Adangathey, Jail, 4G, Kadhalai Thedi Nithya Nandha, Kadhalikka Yarumillai, Idi Muzhakkam, Bachelor and the independent English film Trap City. As his Jail has been certified 'U/A' by the censor board, there has also been a talk for sometime regarding the release of his Bachelor, which has been directed by debutant Sathish Selvakumar.

GV Prakash has been paired opposite popular model Dhivyabharathi, who is making her acting debut in Bachelor. Produced by G. Dillibabu's Axess Film Factory banner and being presented by Sakthi Film Factory, the upcoming romantic drama has now been officially announced for a theatrical release on December 3, 2021. The film has GV Prakash playing the role of an obsessive lover, while Dhivyabharathi has been cast as an IT professional, with the story revolving around the ups and downs in their relationship as was seen in an intense teaser that was released earlier this year. Check out the Bachelor official release date announcement below:

GV Prakash, who had five releases in 2019, including being praised for his performance in director Sasi's Sivappu Manjal Pachai, will be looking to leave a lasting impression with Bachelor after his direct-to-television film Vanakkam Da Mappilei telecast earlier this year on Sun TV didn't sizzle as he might have expected. Apart from playing the lead role, GV Prakash has composed the songs and background score for Bachelor, with the supporting cast also featuring Muniskanth and Bhagavathi Perumal in pivotal roles, while Theni Eswar has handled the cinematography and San Lokesh is the editor.
