During a special interview with Galatta Tamil, director, and actor Selvaraghavan shared various details about his acting experience in the recently released film, Bakasuran, and discussed his future projects and past film journey. When asked about his perspective on the safety of the girl child in society, especially as a father himself, he responded, which can be roughly translated as, "Being a father of a girl child these days is very scary. In my opinion, her world should be whatever she wants it to be. Things should go as she desires. Even now, my daughter is the boss of our house. It's a lovely relationship. She can only understand the magic of life by living it and experiencing it for herself. Apart from everything that has ever happened in my life, the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in my life is my bond with my daughter."
When asked what they should do to recover from the violence that occurs to women, he responded, "The world is different in every move. There'll be an issue. So, no matter what, face it. and leave it behind. Allow yourself to be liberated. The choice is yours; face it because dealing with problems is a necessary part of life.
Selvaraghavan, a prominent director in the 2000s, has delivered numerous blockbuster hits. He has a loyal fan base who consider him a genius for his ability to provide different cinematic experiences. His latest directorial venture, Nane Varuvan, released after a long break, was well-received by the audience. Selvaraghavan is not only a talented director but also an impressive actor. He has garnered attention for his performances in Saani Kaayidham and Beast and his role in his own directorial venture, Nane Varuven. His most recent acting project was Bakasuran, which was directed by Mohan G of Draupathi fame, and was released in theatres last week.
