Dulquer Salmaan's highly anticipated next, Kurup will be releasing in theatres on November 12 and Kurup will be one of the first notable films to release in Kerala theatres after the second wave of Covid 19. Ahead of the film's release, the makers have now released the official theatrical trailer of the film which looks solid and intriguing. The trailer introduces us to the world of Kurup and its central characters and it looks like an exciting treat awaits the film buffs. Kurup is based on the real life story of Sukumara Kurup, India's most wanted fugitive. Kurup is said to be Kerala's most eluding criminal who has been in the hide since mid 1980s.

It is going to be interesting to see the real life story transform into a film and Dulquer looks highly promising as Kurup. The star actor's menacing looks and earnest performance will be one of the highlights of Kurup which has Sobhita Dhulipala, as the female lead. Indrajith Sukumaran, Shine Tom Chacko, Sunny Wayne, Bharath Srinivasan, Surabhi Lakshmi, play supporting roles in the film.

Sushin Shyam's intense and powerful background score is one of the major highlights of the trailer of Kurup. From what we see in the trailer, it looks like Srinath Rajendran, the director has packaged a quality con film and it is expected to be an intriguing watch for the audience. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the banner of Wayfarer Films in association with M Star Entertainments, the film has cinematography handled by Nimish Ravi. Vivek Harshan is the editor of this film. Jithin K Jose has penned the story of Kurup which has screenplay written by Daniel Sayooj Nair and KS Aravind.
