Director Aslam, a former associate of Ameer, made his directorial debut with Paagan starring Srikanth and Janani Iyer in the lead roles. The buzz was that the director would next remake it in Hindi or Telugu. But now it is has been confirmed that the director’s next would be in Tamil movie titled Mustafa.

According to sources, the director is on the lookout for a top hero to play the lead in Mustafa. It is said to be an in and out comedy movie. The cast and crew will be announced in a couple of weeks. Shooting will commence from January 2013.
