Dindugal Sarathy to be remade in Kannada

The shooting for Nanjangud Nanjunda (Kannada) started last week at�Sri Manjunatha Temple in Bangalore. The film is said to be a remake of Dindugal Sarathy�(Tamil - 2008)with Karunaas as hero. The film had Karthika, Sharanya and Livingstone, apart from Mayilsamy and Manobala.

Nanjangud Nanjunda stars popular TV actor Ravishankar and Hamsini from Kerala. The film will be directed by Srinivas Prasad, and cinematography is handled by Suresh, former assistant of R. Giri.

The film, being made keeping in mind the sensibilities of the Kannada audience,�will be completely shot in Mysore and Srirangapatnam. K.S.L. Swamee and Nagaraj will provide�the comic element; director is very confident that the success of Dindugal Sarathy can be repeated with Nanjangud Nanjunda.

Dindugul Sarathy, directed by Subramaniam Pillai, was a remake of Vadakku Nooki Yanthram, a popular Malayalam film by Sreenivasan.
