The Bollywood multi-starrer Good Newwz starred Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani in lead roles and the comedy-drama film directed by debutant Raj Mehta was produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Shashank Khaitan and Aruna Bhatia under their respective banners Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. Songs for the film are composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Rochak Kohli, Lauv, Lijo George–DJ Chetas, Badshah, Manj Musik–Herbie Sahara, Sukhbir and Kshmr. Good Newwz had a theatrical release on December 27th, 2019 and the movie received accolades for its unique concept with some impressive performances from all the leading names.
