Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam is currently in the post-production stages and the film is expected to hit the screens by the end of July, possibly during the star actor's birthday time. Yesterday (June 7), the team had officially announced that the character look posters would be unveiled today and it made the fans look forward to the revelations. That being said, the first character look poster has now been released and here are the details about it. Raashi Khanna's character has been revealed and she plays Anusha, a high school love character.

It is going to be interesting to see the relationship and chemistry between Dhanush and Raashi Khanna onscreen and it looks like a fun treat awaits fans. Thiruchitrambalam marks the return of the sensational blockbuster DnA (Dhanush and Anirudh) combo and the fans are eagerly looking forward to the music album. Thiruchitrambalam will be Dhanush's next release in Tamil cinema and it is directed by Mithran R Jawahar of Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran fame. Produced by Sun Pictures on a grand scale, the film has cinematography handled by Om Prakash, while the editing has been taken care of by GK Prasanna.

Thiruchitrambalam is said to be a family entertainer that will have romance and comedy in high doses. The film has three female leads - Priya Bhavani Shankar, Raashi Khanna, and Nithya Menen. Prakash Raj, and Bharathiraja play pivotal roles in this film that is expected to hit the screens in the last week of July. Dhanush was last seen in Maaran which opened to negative reviews from the audience. However, the star actor will be making a strong comeback with his International Hollywood flick, The Gray Man, directed by The Russo Brothers. This Chris Evans - Ryan Gosling starrer will stream on Netflix soon.
