Two-time National Award-winning Tamil actor Dhanush's Naane Varuven being directed by blockbuster filmmaker Selvaraghavan has entered its post-production stages. The news has officially been announced by Selvaraghavan, who took to social media on Tuesday and also posted a picture of himself engaged in deep thought, with fans in the comments sending him their wishes for quick completion of the post-production works. Naane Varuven will feature music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is the reunion of the celebrated composer with Selvaraghavan and Dhanush, with expectations high for the trio to come up with memorable work once again on the lines of their previous ventures like Thulluvadho Illamai, Kaadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Yaaradi Nee Mohini

Selvaraghavan had stated a while back that Naane Varuven is a story written by Dhanush, who has also penned the screenplay for the film, which has created tremendous curiosity among fans. The duo is reuniting for a film after nearly a decade when they last worked together on the blockbuster Mayakkam Enna. Naane Varuven will also see Selvaraghavan sharing screen space alongside Dhanush for the first time ever and it is unknown at this point whether he is playing the antagonist or appearing in a pivotal supporting role. For now, it has been reported that Dhanush will be seen in dual roles in Naane Varuven and for the third time in his career after Kodi (2016) and Pattas (2020).

Naane Varuven also stars Meyaadha Maan fame Indhuja Ravichandran as the female lead and is her next big appearance after starring in Vijay's Bigil in 2019. She will be joining popular European actress Elli AvrRam, who has been cast for a vital part, with veteran actor Prabhu and comedian Yogi Babu also set to appear in supporting roles. The film also has a talented technical team featuring names like cinematographer Om Prakash, editor S. Bhuvanasundar and art director RK Vijai Murugan, with the stunts being choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan.
