Dhanush's younger son Linga celebrated his birthday yesterday (June 21) and marking the special occasion, Dhanush made a heartfelt wish to his son through an Instagram post. The picture has turned viral among the fans and has been doing rounds on social media since last night. Dhanush called Linga to be the light of his life and wished him a happy birthday. Sharing a memorable picture of lifting Linga on his shoulders, Dhanush wrote on his Instagram page, "Happy happy birthday my linga baby. Thank you for being the light of my life ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤".

The picture and the post indeed looked heartwarming. Dhanush, on the personal front, announced his separation from his wife, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, after 18 years of marital life. On the professional side, Dhanush is a busy actor indeed, as always. His next release will be the Hollywood flick, The Gray Man which is set to have a direct digital premiere on Netflix. The film, directed by Russo Brothers of Avengers fame, will premiere on July 22 and the fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing it. The Gray Man, an epic action saga, features Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles, with Dhanush essaying a pivotal character.
In Tamil, Dhanush's next release will be Thiruchitrambalam which is scheduled to hit the screens on August 18. Thiruchitrambalam features Priya Bhavani Shankar, Raashi Khanna, and Nithya Menen as the female leads and has Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja in important roles. Produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Mithran R Jawahar, the film brings back the much-loved DnA (Dhanush and Anirudh) combo. Dhanush also has Naane Varuven in which he is getting back with his brother and acclaimed filmmaker Selvaraghavan. The shooting of Naane Varuven has been wrapped up and the post production works are happening in full swing.
Dhanush has also signed a film under the direction of Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame.
