Popular television couple Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary announced on Monday that they have been blessed with a baby girl. They posted a video on Instagram giving fans a glimpse of their newborn but didn't reveal the face of their baby, who is wrapped in a white cloth. In the video, we can see Gurmeet holding Debina's hand, who in turn held their firstborn's hand, with the couple writing in the caption, "With utmost gratitude, we welcome our BABY GIRL into this world. 3.4.2022. Debina had last month posted photos from her baby shower ceremony on Instagram in which she was seen wearing a maroon-and-gold traditional outfit. She mentioned the tradition of a pregnant woman being fed the food she craved as part of tradition when she's expecting a child. Debina wrote in the caption: "Saadh or desire in English. Desire for food of a pregnant woman is celebrated by the maternal side ( here my mother) by cooking all food the woman loves .."Baby shower " in western country and "godh bharayi" in north India saadh in Bengali. I didn't particularly crave for anything during the whole journey .. so all things my mother could think of she cooked. Wanted to keep it private and entirely upto myself as I already feel a company. Sending you all wishes." In another follow-up post, she spoke about the look she hoped to accomplish for the ceremony and said, "Sharing the look I thought of creating. Debina Bonnerjee tied the knot with actor Gurmeet Choudhary in 2011 and the couple announced their pregnancy this February. On the work front, Debina, who played the heroine in the 2006 Tamil film Perarasu opposite Vijayakanth, became a major television star in North India after starring in serials like Chidiya Ghar, Nadaniyaan, Santoshi Maa, Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga, while she also made appearances reality shows such as Nach Baliye 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5, including Bigg Boss 15 earlier this year. Gurmeet, on the other hand, shared screen space with Debina during the early stages of their career in the popular Tamil serial Mayavi, which aired on Jaya TV, and the Hindi mythological show Ramayan, while he was also seen in reality shows like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati, Nach Baliye 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 to name a notable few.
