'Chiyaan' Vikram's Cobra opened in cinemas worldwide on Wednesday, August 31, and the film is the talk of the town. As audiences are thronging theatres everywhere, there's no stopping the excitement surrounding the action thriller film directed by Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal fame Ajay Gnanamuthu and produced under Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios banner. Currently playing in theatres, the makers have now released the much-awaited Cobra making video giving fans a glimpse into the extensive preparation undertaken for National Award-winning actor Vikram's various looks in the film.

In the Cobra making video, we see Vikram talk about the work for his eight different getups in the film, with director Ajay Gnanamuthu also sharing his insights on the prosthetics and how they had roped in a team from Mumbai to oversee the responsibility. Vikram reveals that it would take nearly 5 hours for the final output to be achieved every day on the makeup chair and how he would have to be up early in the morning before heading to the shooting. Quoting an instance where he was in character in one of the looks from Cobra, Vikram revealed how a cameraman operator didn't recognize that it was indeed him, which eventually resulted in a hilarious moment that the team reminisces to this date.

Cobrais now out in theatres and has come out after his Mahaan alongside his son Dhruv Vikram premiered directly on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform earlier this year. Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman has churned out the tunes and the background score and his songs have once again topped the charts. Apart from Vikram, Cobra also stars KGF heroine Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead,  Roshan Mathew as the antagonist, followed by Irfan Pathan, K. S. Ravikumar, Mirnalini Ravi, Miya George, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Anandaraj, Robo Shankar, John Vijay, among others in pivotal roles.
