Acclaimed director and screenwriter Vasanthabalan known for his works in Veyil, Angadi Theru, Kaaviya Thalaivan and few others to add on is getting ready with his next directorial venture titled Jail starring GV Prakash Kumar and Abarnathy in lead roles.

Meanwhile, Vasanthabalan at a recent press meet slammed Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) President Vishal for his inefficiency and inactivity on piracy issues. He also blasted the actor with charges of slowly leading the death of small films.

He also rebuked Vishal of playing an intelligent detective and Army official in films, but failed to stop the activity of Tamilrockers. He also feared that his upcoming film, Jail, may face a same fate in the hands of video piracy sites.

Vasanthabalan also pointed out that Kannada and Malayalam films are hard to be found on the internet while every other Tamil movie released faces piracy and questioned the logic behind this.
