Sivakarthikeyan is currently busy shooting for his untitled science fiction thriller, directed by Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame. The film is said to deal with aliens and their invasion in the city. After a long break, the film's shooting resumed last week in Chennai and a selfie picture featuring Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet and director Ravikumar was seen on the social media.

It looks like the film has got a new change in its technical crew. Ace cinematographer Nirav Shah has now been replaced by DoP Dinesh Krishnan for this current schedule. Nirav is busy shooting for AK 59 with Thala Ajith and director H Vinoth and hence the team of SK 14 have gone for a change. Apparently, the newly progressing schedule of SK 14 coincided with Nirav's dates for AK 59 and as a result, the 2.0 cinematographer had to choose one.

Dinesh Krishnan is a young talent who is known for his works in films like Soodhu Kavvum, Thegidi, Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, and the very recent Kanaa. Dinesh will work as the cinematographer for this schedule and if he will continue as the lensman for the rest of the film is something that we will have to wait and see.

SK 14, which is scheduled to hit the screens in the later half of 2019, has music scored by A.R.Rahman, marking his first-time collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan.
