American actor Chris Pratt, known best among fans for playing Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy films, is expecting his second child with his wife, author Katherine Schwarzenegger. According to reports, the 42-year-old actor and his wife are set to welcome their second child next year. Pratt and Schwarzenegger were blessed with their first child, a daughter Lyla Maria, in August 2020. The news is doing the rounds only a few days after Pratt posted heartfelt words dedicated to Schwarzenegger while celebrating her 32nd birthday.
Sharing photos of Schwarzenegger, Pratt wrote, "Happy Birthday Honey! You are such a wonderful wife, mother, step-mother, and life partner. I simply can’t imagine how lost I’d be without you. You’re beautiful, tough as nails, reasonable, deeply thoughtful, extraordinarily smart, you’re a complete boss, eternally driven and you communicate like no other. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being so instrumental in my growth over the past few years." Pratt continued, "We fit so perfectly into each other's lives that our Union is a daily reminder that God is looking out for us. Navigating the odd circumstances of our world is a task I cannot handle alone. And I’m so grateful I don’t have to. Your commitment to helping others is contagious. I’m just so grateful for the harmony you continually bring to our household. I love you so much honey. Happy Birthday!"
On the work front, Chris Pratt, who was last seen in The Tomorrow War earlier this year, will be reprising his role as Owen Grady in the upcoming Jurassic World Dominion, which is scheduled to hit screens on June 10, 2022. Likewise, he will be seen portraying Peter Quill/Star-Lord once again in a pivotal appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder slated to come out July 8, 2022. Pratt will also be seen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is set for a 2023 worldwide theatrical release. He was also recently announced to have joined the voice cast of the untitled Mario and Garfield films. Pratt already shares a son, Jack, who turns eight this month, with former wife, actress Anna Faris. He and Schwarzenegger got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in Montecito, California in June 2019.
