Chiyaan Vikram's Cobra is getting ready for its grand theatrical release on August 11 and the fans have pinned high hopes on the movie. The post production works are happening in full swing and is right on track for its release on August 11. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies will be releasing the film across Tamil Nadu on a record number of screens. Meanwhile, the makers recently made a big announcement which has set the fans in excitement. A grand audio launch has been planned for Cobra and it will take place on July 11, Monday, evening at 7 PM at Palladium, Courtyard, Phoenix Mall, Velachery.

Chiyaan Vikram who recently fell ill following a chest discomfort, is on his recovery process and it has been officially confirmed that he will be present for the Cobra audio launch. His presence in the event will serve as a delightful treat for the fans. The other highlight aspect of the audio launch is that it will have the live performance of A.R.Rahman who will be performing all the songs from the album of Cobra. Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan will be making his acting debut in this action thriller and he is said to have played a negative character. The film is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal fame, featuring Srinidhi Shetty of KGF 2 fame as the female lead. Produced by SS Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio, the film has cinematography handled by Harish Kannan, while the editing and stunt choreography departments are headed by Bhuvan Srinivasan and Dhilip Subbarayan respectively.
