As the veteran actor Mayilsamy passed away last night, many celebrities and cinema personalities expressed their grief to the family. Celebrities including Siddharth, Kovai Sarala, M. S. Bhaskar, Senthil, and Parthiban, among others, shared their condolences with the press. Actress Kovai Sarala, who worked alongside Mayilsamy in various movies, said, "We have lost a great human being. He had no ego or attitude of a celebrity and was generous with everyone. He was a great devotee of Shiva, and as he died on the auspicious night of Sivarathri, there is no doubt that he has reached God's charity. I pray that his soul may rest in peace. My deepest condolences to his family." Actor M. S. Bhaskar also expressed his sorrow, saying, "I don't know what to say. We both came from the rock bottom of the industry. Mayilsamy used to address me as 'mama' with love. Fifteen days ago, I checked on his health and asked him to take care. Three days ago, he invited me to the Sivarathri celebration, but I couldn't make it because I had a shooting. Mayilsamy was such a great devotee of Lord Shiva. He was like MGR; He helped everyone. I pray for his soul to rest in peace."
Actor Parthiban shared, "Actor Mayilsamy's death has caused an undefined sadness in me. Apart from being a good actor and a good director, he has been a great example of being a good human being. He showed us that to help people, we don't need to be rich or in power. I am here to share my condolences not only because he was my friend but also because of the life he has lived."
Actor Senthil shared, "Mayilsamy is a good actor and also a very generous person. I always encouraged him during shooting." He couldn't continue his condolence speech as he started crying. Meanwhile, actor Siddharth shared, "Elder brother Mayilsamy is a very good person, most importantly. I have known him for many years now. He saw the cine industry as his family. He always checked on everyone via calls. He had a really huge heart."
