Actor Vemal has been in the headlines recently for the wrong reasons after he allegendly assaulting actor Abhishek a month back. And now, the actor seems to be facing another big problem.
According to reports, financier Singaravelen has filled a case against Vemal for allegedly cheating Rs 1.5 Crores. Singaravelan has alleged that Vemal received Rs. 1.5 crores after promising him the theatrical rights of his upcoming film Kalavani 2. He further alleged that Vemal changed his words and said that the film is produced by Sargunam and he has nothing to do with the film apart from acting and the rights have been sold to someone else.
Notably, financier Singaravelan had already appealed for stay order against the release of 'Kalavani 2 but the case was dismissed later. Following that Sargunam had complained that murder threats were made to him by Singaravelan and the later was asked to appear before the court. The issue sorrounding Kalavani 2 seems to be growing bigger and the new case against Vemal could further affect the release of the film.
Vemal's Kalavani 2 is a romantic comedy film directed and produced by Sarkunam and the movie has the Bigg Boss star Oviya as the female lead. Kalavani 2 also has RJ Vigneshkanth, Saranya Ponvannan, Ilavarasu in important roles as well. The movie is the sequel to the 2010 fit film Kalavani.
