SJ Suryah is a popular director turned actor who has been taking up a wide range of roles in his career. He has acted in many character roles, as an antagonist and as the lead in films like Monster and Nenjam Marappathillai. The long-awaited film of the actor is titled Bommai. It is directed by Radha Mohan who has previously made many feel-good entertainers like Abhiyum Naanum, Mozhi, Kaatrin Mozhi etc. The second trailer of Bommai was released recently. As the film is set to be released in theatres on June 16, the makers have now released the songs from the film.

The album of Bommai is composed by the talented Yuvan Shankar Raja. The audio launch event happened in a private studio in the presence of the directors Lokesh Kangaraj and Pradeep Ranganathan. Leo director presented the audio and Love Today actor received it as a representative from the audience. The makers have also released a video from the private Audio Launch event. S.J. Suryah introduced the show and said he invited the two directors to do the honours. Lokesh Kanagaraj then revealed that he has been a big fan of director Radha Mohan’s Films. Pradeep Ranganathan then said he is a big fan of S.J Suryah so, he receives the audio on behalf of his fans and audience.
S.J. Suryah has then revealed that the album of Bommai has four songs. Three of them were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the last one is from his father Ilayaraaja's composition titled Deiveega Raagam that's been re-sung with a kid. It also has one background score track. Now, the makers have also released all the tracks from the film as a Jukebox. Apart from S.J.Suryah, the psychological drama film Bommai also has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead.
