Black Adam is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Produced under the banners of New Line Cinema, DC Films, Seven Bucks Productions, and FlynnPictureCo., it is a spin-off from the 2019 film Shazam! and the 11th film in the DCEU (DC Extended Universe). Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani, the film stars Dwayne Johnson as in the titular role alongside Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, Bodhi Sabongui, and Pierce Brosnan.

Black Adam has been scheduled to be released theatrically in the United States on 21 October 2022. But an exciting news has been announced for the Indian audience and it is a big one. It has been confirmed that the film would release in India a day early than the US release, meaning the film will hit the screens on October 20 instead. The official Twitter handle of Warner Bros. India announced this grand news to their countless fans and followers who are awaiting the film. 

Sharing a 23 seconds announcement teaser of the news, they wrote, "Brace yourselves because #BlackAdam is arriving one day early! Watch ‘Black Adam’ in cinemas in India from October 20 onwards in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. @therock ". Check it out: 

The official summary of Black Adam's plot reads as: "After nearly five thousand years of imprisonment, Black Adam, an antihero from the ancient city of Kahndaq, is unleashed into modern times. His brute tactics and way of justice attract the attention of the Justice Society of America, who tries to stop his rampage, teach him how to be a hero more than a villain, and must team up to stop a force more powerful than Adam himself."
