Bigg Boss Tamil fame actress Sherin has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus and notably, this is her second time. Sharing that she has developed symptoms, Sherin wrote on her official Instagram page, "Tested positive for Covid. Again! And this time with symptoms! Fever, sore throat, headaches, and all that jazz! You know the drill by now, if you have met me recently, please isolate yourself and look out for symptoms. Stay in, stay safe, double mask, triple mask, wear a hazmat suit if you should, do whatever it takes for you to ride this wave safely to the end. Yaaay 2022".

Earlier, on August 16, 2021, Sherin had tested positive for Covid-19 and she recovered from the infection in a few days. Talking about her first Covid positive result, Sherin had posted, "Hello everyone, I have just been informed that I have been tested positive for COVID 19. If you have come in contact with me in the last 3 - 4 days, kindly isolate yourself and get tested ASAP". However, she has now tested positive, once again, and the fans have extended their warm wishes for her to recover soon. For the unversed, Sherin was one of the popular actors of Tamil cinema in the 2000s.

After a hiatus, she made her reentry into the entertainment industry with the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil which earned her a huge fan base. Sherin was one of the finalists of Bigg Boss Tamil: Season 3. Dhanush's Thulluvadho Ilamai, Student Number 1, Whistle, Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi, are some of the films that helped Sherin earn fame and popularity among the Tamil audiences.
