Actress Nora Fatehi, known best among Tamil cinema fans for her dance numbers like 'Manohari' in Baahubali: The Beginning and 'Door Number' in Thozha, recently shot a music video for the song 'Dance Meri Rani' in Goa with singer Guru Randhawa, which is a follow-up to their previous chart-buster, 'Naach Meri Rani'. Having also gained prominence among fans as a contestant on Bigg Boss 9 in 2015 apart from her special appearances in films, she also posted a vlog on her YouTube channel of the behind-the-scenes action from the 'Dance Meri Rani' song shoot. In the BTS video, we see Nora saying, "This is going to be really interesting because we are doing something different. It’s something that is so exciting and close to my heart. We are doing an Afro style, both musically and dance-wise, and also visually. I love it, it’s such a vibe." She further added that the entire experience was "crazy" for her as she was shuttling between rehearsals for her other shoots, events, and live performances.

Nora sported multiple looks for the 'Dance Meri Rani' music video and one among them included her wearing an ash blonde wig with curls. In the video, we also see the Bhuj: The Pride of India actress poking fun at Guru for predominantly shooting music videos with other female artists, while adding, "Then you just go around and come back to me." In his response, Guru says, "That’s where home is." During the course of the production of the song's video, Nora goes on to talk about how her wig is giving her migraines. She says, "You have no idea how relieved I am to remove that wig. Look at my ears. It’s giving me migraines."

As part of her third look for the 'Dance Meri Rani' music video, Nora Fatehi changes to a fishtail costume for the look of a mermaid. She reveals how the costume sticks to her skin and became heavier after she got into the water. We also see how the Batla House actress is carried on a stretcher by members of the crew as her legs are covered in the mermaid costume restricting her free movement. Nora also breaks down at one point in front of everyone stating that it is "embarrassing". She said, "That fin was so heavy and he was bending that fin down, it was about to crack my feet open. I was about to get broken feet by the end of this shoot and I wasn’t going to let that happen. If I wasn’t going to cry, he wasn’t going to stop and then I would have two broken feet and no feet to dance and you know me, I need those feet to dance away."
