One of the most flamboyant stars in Tamil cinema, STR recently wrapped up filming his portions for Hansika’s upcoming film, Maha, in which he will be seen in an extended cameo as a pilot. The actor also kicked off shooting for Studio Green’s STR 45, alongside Gautham Karthik under Kannada director Narthan’s direction. That said, a picture of Simbu with actress Sanam Shetty is now doing the rounds on social networking forums and seems to have been taken when the superstar was not shooting for STR 45. Fans will know Sanam Shetty is the girlfriend of Bigg Boss 3 contestant Tharshan Thiyagarajah and has also had starring roles in several Tamil films among which are Ambuli, Katham Katham, Vellaiya Irukiravan Poi Solla Maatan and Sadhuram 2 to name a few.
Apart from his cameo in Maha and the ongoing STR 45, Simbu is expected to begin filming with director Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu, which was announced last year. Suresh Kamatchi will be producing the action political drama under his V House Productions banner with Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead and Bigg Boss stars Daniel Annie Pope and Sendrayan in supporting roles featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
