Actor Bharath's 50th film is titled Love and has him paired opposite youth sensation Vani Bhojan. A remake of the hit Malayalam film of the same title, the Tamil version's first look has been released on Thursday, with National Award-winning actor Mohanlal doing the honors. A black comedy psychological thriller, Love released in 2020 starred Rajisha Vijayan and Shine Tom Chacko in the lead roles under Khalid Rahman's direction and opened to largely positive reviews. Bharath's character in the Tamil version of Love will have shades of psychopathic behavior, while Vani Bhojan is playing his wife in the film, which has been directed by R. P. Bala, who has also produced it under the RP Bala Films banner.

As of now, no release date has been announced for Love, which also features Meyaadha Maan fame Vivek Prasanna, Bigg Boss 2 star Daniel Annie Pope and Auto Shankar web series actress Swayam Siddha in major supporting roles. The film also includes a talented technical team among whom are music director Ronnie Raphael, who has composed for the Udhayanidhi Stalin-starrer Nimir, followed by cinematography by PG Muthaiah and editing by Ajay Manoj. Apart from Love, both Bharath and Vani Bhojan alongside Pandian Stores serial fame Kaavya Arivumani had also shot for an untitled thriller, directed by debutant M Sakthivel and produced under Dilli Babu's Axess Film Factory, who is known for bankrolling ventures like Maragadha Naanayam and Ratsasan.
