With the promotions of Bharat doing rounds on the internet, the movie is all set to hit the silver screens on June 5, for Eid. The making of the song "Turpeya" has just dropped in. It is penned by lyricist Irshad Kamil and features Sukhwinder Singh's vocals. It has been mentioned that "Turpeya" has been shot exclusively at Malta island. The place looks extremely exotic. "Turpeya" is a song about when somebody travels far from home and the way he misses the home, choreographed by Adil Sheaikh. It is said that Salman Khan will be shown differently in this song.

Aside from Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif playing the leads of the movie, Bharat, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Aasif Sheikh and Sonali Kulkarni are featuring in supporting roles. The music of the film is composed by Vishal and Shekhar.

This is the third time the director, Ali Abbas Zafar and Salman Khan are collaborating after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Bharat will be a period drama and is speculated to be based on a Korean drama, Ode to My Father. The budget of Bharat is rupees 100 crores and also has twitter emoji of Salman Khan.
