The much-awaited official trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water has been released and is a visual treat from start to finish. The sequel to the 2009 global blockbuster Avatar, the upcoming epic science fiction film produced by 20th Century Studios, will open in cinemas worldwide on December 16 and also set in motion for the upcoming ventures in the franchise. Post the release of an exciting and action-packed teaser a few months back, the highly-anticipated trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water has been unveiled on Wednesday, November 2, and is no doubt a big feast for fans, who have been waiting for more than a decade to revisit Cameron's world of Pandora.

The world has been celebrating superhero films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) over the past decade and Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water will now take audiences back to witnessing the visual spectacle in Pandora once again and the film's action-packed new trailer will set the stage for a more grand extravaganza on the big screen.

Avatar: The Way of Water has Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana reprising their roles as Jake Sully and Neytiri and shows them now married together, with the film's story set five years after the events of the 2009 original. The James Cameron directorial also sees the return of Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald, while Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet, Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Jemaine Clement, and CJ Jones are on board as the new cast members. The buzz for Avatar: The Way of Water is massive and will get bigger considering a 4-minute end credit scene to set up the sequel was added to the recently re-released 4K HDR 3D version of Avatar along with a roaring Dolby Atmos mix, which received a fantastic response. The newly-released trailer of Avatar 2 too will shoot up expectations and fans will be counting down the days from now on for the film when it opens in cinemas worldwide in the next two months.
