Academy Award-winning director James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on December 16 and the excitement among fans has been evidently high. The sequel to the 2009 epic global sci-fi blockbuster, Avatar, will see Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana reprise their roles as Jake Sully and Neytiri, with an intriguing and spectacular teaser released back in May this year. With only a couple of more months left, a new promo for Avatar: The Way of Water has been released highlighting the preservation of our oceans. 

In this new glimpse for Avatar 2, we see cast members Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana joined by Sigourney Weaver, Jack Champion, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, and Bailey Bass speak about how the upcoming film "will transport audiences to the wonders of the reef", while also emphasizing on the conservation of our oceans. The official synopsis states, "To celebrate the release of Avatar: The Way of Water, Disney and Avatar are supporting The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to protect 10 of our ocean’s amazing animals and their habitats, connected to the beauty of Pandora. Together, we can keep our oceans amazing and help achieve TNC’s global goal of protecting 10 percent of the ocean by 2030." 

Avatar: The Way of Water also marks the return of Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald from the original film, while Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet, Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Jemaine Clement, and CJ Jones are the new cast members. James Cameron recently re-released Avatar in theatres worldwide with a 4K HDR 3D and a roaring Dolby Atmos mix, while also sharing a 4-minute end credit scene to set up the sequel.
