We can't wait for James Cameron's Avatar 2 now! Ever since its inception, the makers have been doing their utmost best not to spill any beans about the plot of the film's upcoming series of sequels. The first glimpse of director James Cameron's magnum opus was screened at the Las Vegas CinemaCon which took place on Tuesday (April 26). After nearly thirteen years after the release of the original Avatar movie its sequel is all set to hit the screens on 16 December 2022.

Avatar also redefined filmmaking with its top-notch techniques and advancement which were made possible during the period of its shoot. It played an integral part in cinema innovation, from playing a key role in ushering in the digital 3D movie era to introducing new production techniques in areas such as performance capture and virtual production. The visual wonder film made by James Cameron created a whole new world of imagination with its high-level graphic work and whatnot. And with many wonders, this movie has made/left a mark and has also gained innumerous fans from across the world.

The latest update about this movie is sure to amaze the audience world as the film will be made available to watch in 160 languages. If this does happen, Avatar 2 will set a record in the history of cinema for being the movie that was released in most languages. Information is that it will be released in 3D, 4K, 5K, and 8K video formats. 

The upcoming epic sci-fi film is written and directed by James Cameron and produced by 20th Century Studios. It is the second installment in Cameron's Avatar franchise, following the release of Avatar way back in 2009. The film will star Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald who will all be reprising their roles from the original film while the new cast members include Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel, and CJ Jones.
