Dhanush is currently shooting for one of his upcoming films, Thiruchitrambalam which is directed by Mithran Jawahar of Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Uthamaputhiran fame. Dhanush has penned the story and screenplay of this film which is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Thiruchitrambalam is touted to a fun-filled family entertainer and the shooting of the film is currently progressing at a brisk pace. Having said that, a new update on the film is known and this is sure to keep the fans excited. Ken Karunaas who made his acting debut with Dhanush's Asuran, will be acting in an important role in Thiruchitrambalam and this update has garnered wide attention on social media.

The fans are delighted to know that the highly successful Asuran combo is back once again for Thiruchitrambalam and it looks like a good treat awaits the fans. Ken played the role of Chidambaram, Dhanush's son in Asuran and his performance received rave reviews from the critics and audience. However, we are yet to know the details of Ken's role in Thiruchitrambalam. The makers are currently shooting scenes in a 'thiruvizha' setup and reportedly, the shoot is happening at Pudukottai. Thiruchitrambalam features three female leads - Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Raashi Khanna, while the supporting cast features Prakash Raj, Bharathiraja, and others. The highlight aspect of Thiruchitrambalam happens to be its music which is composed by rockstar Anirudh Ravichander. The highly celebrated DnA combo will be reuniting for Thiruchitrambalam and the fans are eagerly looking forward to listening to the songs. Om Prakash and GK Prasanna will be taking care of the cinematography and editing departments respectively.
