An aspiring actress has allegedly committed suicide by jumping to her death from her apartment terrace. According to several reports, the girl, whose name was Pearl Punjabi, was in her 20’s. According to reports, she was trying to make a name in Bollywood for quite some time now but failed. Reports also claim that she was mentally disturbed and used to often have fights with her mother. Punjabi had allegedly tried to kill herself twice in the past also.
Oshiwara police is currently investigating into this matter but they made no comments regarding the same. According to a report in a leading media, the security guard of the building has stated that around 12.15 to 12.30 am he heard sounds of shouting from Pearl's apartment , which is on the third floor, and later he heard the thudding sound of something falling. It was then that he found the girl in a pool of blood on the ground.
Reports revealed that the reason behind her mental illness was her father's death in 1998. It is also being said that her father was murdered. A report in a leading daily also says that Pearl Punjabi was being treated by a psychiatrist for the past few years.
