Ashish Vidyarthi fills Raghuvaran's shoes
After the initial shock of Raghuvaran's untimely death wore off, most of the industry picked itself up and went about the normal business of the day. But the makers of Mallana (Kanthaswamy in Tamil) were stuck in a quandary- what should be done about Raghuvaran’s scenes?
The actor had a very prominent role in Mallana, which was only half completed when he unexpectedly passed away. His scenes had to be reshot but which actor could do justice to the character?
After a lengthy search, the whole unit breathed a sigh of relief. Ashish Vidyarthi was found to be the apt replacement for the late actor. Reports say that the scenes shot with Raghuvaran a few months ago are now being canned with Ashish Vidyarthi.
